The movie tells the story of a co-director and his wife, whose ultimate aim is to become a independent film director, but he fails. After a long time he got a chance to direct a film. The events following this are shown in the movie.
Scene onnu nammude veedu is a clean movie with no vulgarities. But the story plot is very similar to many other movies and there is nothing new in it. Lal did his character perfectly with all mannerisms needed for his character. Navya Nair and Thilakan also did their roles well.
If you are looking for a simple and clean family movie, scene onnu nammude veedu may satisfy you. Otherwise the movie is a failure.
